Have I posted content in religion and spirituality that violates community guidelines???

After reading a good number of your replies, it is my considered opinion that you have not violated any guidelines.

It is possible (and likely) that someone who disagrees with you may interpret certain content as violation. That can only be because they do not understand the meaning or purpose of these guidelines and mistakenly think they have a right to interpret the guidelines to support their personal agendas.

I too have received notice (just one) that some content I posted was in violation.

I wrote back to the Yahoo personnel, but all I got was a computer generated automatic reply, no personal attention.

This indicates that the violation notices are not entirely reviewed by humans, so they must use software filtering.

It is likely that the software filters this forums utilizes may have erratic behavior, poor programming, biased programming or overly-conservative adjustment. It is also likely that the forum is infiltrated and manipulated by zealots for their personal ends.

None of the content you have posted is in poor taste, patently inflammatory, rude, vulgar, or of a personal nature.

All of your content I have read seems intelligent, accurate, and concise. Even when other members have slipped into personal attacks against you, you have not lowered yourself to their level. You always respond appropriately and respectfully. ( even too respectfully for my tastes)

I suspect that ( as always) those who believe they know what is right for everyone else are trying to censor free speech.

Please keep in mind:

Those who believe they are always right are always wrong.

Those who claim the moral high-ground, will crawl with snakes.

Those who claim to have a supernatural friend, always resort to very Earthly means.

No one has a right to never be offended. There is no provision for that in our Constitution.

The constitution does provide for free speech.

Now, if you will allow me...

Your sense of humor is too good for zealots.

Remember, that in that big baby factory in the sky, the good people have their humor bones removed by a highly ritualistic and painful surgery, performed by god herself... yep that's right, each and every one! (She's god after all! She can do anything she wants!)

But occasionally she likes to watch Lifetime Channel and gets distracted. That's where bad people like lesbians and atheists and any other people who have to think for themselves come from. Also, god likes the afternoon off now and then. She goes out for a pedicure and a wax, ( I'm told it's HEAVENLY!) and then has a nice latte. (Yes, there is a Starbucks in heaven.)

During these little breaks, god doesn't make mistakes, she just forgets to remove the brain and humor bone from her heavenly little children. So, if you posted anything that was deemed inappropriate, it probably was because some good person (without humor or brains) reported you.

What these good people don't realize is that by making this an issue, they have inadvertently made more people aware of your presence. As such, you now have more friends and admirers. This is a natural part of the forum's evolution.

By the way, if you want to scare them off, just invoke the three things that frighten them most: logic, science, evolution.

Say it like a mantra...

You can also try using advertising slogans. Ignorant masses love advertising. It is usually short, to fit their attention spans. It sells them something. Stupid people love to buy stuff... any stuff.

You've probably seen, "Orange juice ! It's not just for breakfast anymore."

Try this one on them...

SEX ! ...it's not just for babies anymore!

They hate that. But that's because they are good and have had the humor bone removed. God doesn't make mistakes! But, occasionally when she is in a hurry or wants the afternoon off for a latte and a wax job, she takes out a little of the brain too. All god's children are missing humor and brains. Don't take it personally.

There seems to have been an increase of those lately. I got one just this morning: I called a troll a "jerk." Since the troll's question was far more abusive than the word "jerk," I know how much "moderating" Yahoo did before deleting my post.

So I lost my religion: I reported him right back. It was my first ever. I used to view the "report abuse" link as completely unnecessary (I mean, come on! If a poster insults you, you either insult him back or just move on to the next guy!)--but after a few of those notices, I decided it's time to fight fire with fire.

My blocked list is now nearly as large as my contacts list. And why not? People might say, "Well, you're just a chicken and can't deal with different viewpoints." Considering that I was once Christian and I have studied several other religions, what viewpoints am I missing out on? How stupid Atheists are and how superior Jesus Krispies are over the national brand? Besides, I still see questions posted by people I've blocked: They just can't spread their feces on my contacts or use my answered questions to be *****.

It's pretty sad when someone can report you simply because they don't like your cookies. Sorry 'bout all that. They don't like mine, either, if that helps--and I don't even HAVE any cookies.

This sounds circular. Have you in fact been "violated" for asking whether or not you have violated? I don't get it. Perhaps they argue that such a question is "personal communication," and therefore a violation.

It just goes to demonstrate that the violation notices really must cite the nature of the violation in order to be fair. If I've heard one complaint more than any other, it is surely that people find they cannot imagine the nature of their violation. They don't know why they were deleted, so how can they fight back?

Which may be exactly why the notice does not say: you are not encouraged to fight back.

Cookie, whatever you post in this section of Yahoo! Answers will be sure to upset somebody. It's a matter of how much finesse you use in hiding the true insult of your message without being dumped. A matter if Style, hotchik - the skilful use of the language. Look at some of the stuff I get away with!

One time i got baked and had a never ending loop of thought like that........the feeling i had was horrible (i'm assuming similar to a female orgasm)...whole body tingle that just amplified each time. Ended when i made my self do the male counterpart

no i think it's something related to the grammar like if you say can i , or who..etc it's considered violation maybe if you written it in a different way might helped because if you check questions in general you will see it has many bad things you know....:)
