Should I pursue a career in sales, or should I try to become an investment/financial representative?

I am a recent graduate with opportunities to start a career in either field, and I am having trouble deciding. What are the benefits of or drawbacks of these two careers? Who works more or makes more after 15 or 20 years? Thanks

I use to work at a sales company, as the admin assistant. I noticed that most of the sales reps. are rude, selfish and money hungry. They are all fake and only think of ways to lie to their customers so they can sell something. If you feel you are like that, then go for it! If you don't think you are then consider something else. Also I find that most of the sales reps were always stressed and looked like they were on drugs. Thank God I left that crazy place. An investment/financial rep seems as a much more stable career choice.

salespeople are annoying. And you're never guaranteed a good paycheck, because it all depends on what you're selling. What if you get a week or 2 where no one wants to buy anything? With finance you'll ALWAYs have a job and a steady paycheck! :) happy hunting
