The mayan calander fortold about what would happen in the future. It happened. Just like the bible. People say the end of the world is near. While others say it is like a phase the world will go through. Like, the world will go through 1000 years of peace but man will not follow if they don't become enlightened.

Although some remain stubborn, the Mayan Calendar has been correct about a lot of things so far. The Mayans were incredibley intelligent. They were also great mathmaticians and astronomers, being able to predict the position of the stars up to 6 thousand years before their time, and they were correct.
The date you are talking about, by the way, is December 26th, 2012. I don't believe that it will be the end of the world, I just think that society will change greatly - as will man.

The Mayan calender,sorry I am some what of an informative person shall I say,while trying to be humble at the same time,check it out. Do a google on the year 2012, Well it is amazing all the myths that come from the fact that they just ran out of stone on that exact date. Why start another one yet,a lot of work and lots of time to start another calender,but they never knew what hit them when The Lord put out his hand against them for their evil acts that reached the heavens,This is fact,no other fact exist,just theory,and that can go on for ever,or until proved wrong.

Who ever is standing on the safe zone when the end of this world comes,they will be safe,or they would have never called it a safe zone. Jesus is that safe zone,know this and you do well. The rest is in the Father's hand.

Just have faith. Always pray to God and ask for just a few more years. Yeah, the did Maya predict their own extinction and predicated lots of things that already happened. That's because they had A WHOLE LOT OF FAITH IN THEIR PREDICTIONS. Have faith in God and pray that there will always be a new day tomorrow. Ask him to forgive the world for it's sins and give us all extensions. But when it's our time... then it's our time.
