Yes the Us has the right to defend itself. And the Iraqi folk(and all other folk in any country for that matter) have the same right.
Now note that the US are not invaders in Iraq. The elected government wants the US there. There are criminals and gang members that don't like the US, but the normal people have no problems.

Don't worry, some of our fellows will give you all of the reasons that we are entitled to defend ourselves but citizens of other nations are not.
It'll have something to do with what the invaders' intentions are, whether they're trying to take over or help out.

Yes they do have that right. BUT foreign terrorists/jihadists like Al Qaeda do NOT have the right to kill anybody. They are criminals/murderers who should be killed by anyone who comes into contact with them.
