What do you think about Amanda Tapping joining Atlantis once SG1 ends this year?

I think it great too. I'm a big fan for SG-1 and was very sad to see it go. I just hope that Sam ends up with Jack when the SG-1 ends. I'm a hopeless shipper!

Not thrilled, to be honest. I don't want them to minimize Rodney, and I worry that Sam will take over as the team nerd. Plus, I hate the Jack/Sam ship and honestly believe that it destroyed SG-1. I want either Jack or Sam to die so that this awful storyline doesn't get dragged onto Atlantis and kill it as well. I also worry that Sam will steal screentime off of the Atlantis regulars. Frankly, I think Cameron or Daniel would be a better fit with Atlantis - Cameron because he doesn't have Sam's history, and Daniel because there's no danger of him replacing any other character.
I give Atlantis one more season, maybe two. The producers seem to be doing their best to sabotage the series, much like they did with SG-1.
