Which Stargate is better. . . SG1 or Atlantis?

SG-1! It's the original and i think the concepts and mythology in it are better! Without SG-1 we wouldn't even have Atlantis! (Also SG-1 has Michael Shanks, which puts it infinitley ahead!)

Both are great. However I like Atlantis better. The character's are quirky and intriguing while the show gives off a dark side while being light as well. Also, a side not, if Sheppard (Joe Fanligan) was not so good looking in pain and discomfort I probably would not have written fanfiction for it

There both good, but I've always preferred Atlantis. I like the characters better.

I like both of them, but SG-1 came first, so maybe that wins? Even though Atlantis does usually have really good special effects...

SG1 ofc. youve got daniel aaand teal'c and jack oneill aaand sam aaand the balding man i kep forgetting his name and the dude with the glasses that doesnt actually have a name(the one that works in the controls room) and sam's dad. aaand the adventures are awesome. my mum got me hooked on it. atlantis is in no way near as good as SG1
