Fingerprints On ID cards? This Is Worse And It's Already Here?

In '01 (before 9/11) I was arrested on a warrant from a ticket I had already taken care of.
When I was booked in jail I was told to place my right hand on a television screen where there was a hand outlined.
I asked the booking oficer what the deal was.
She told me that all the cop cars had one of the screens and they were tied into a state-wide data base. When you are stopped by the cops for whatever, they can demand that you place your hand on this screen and within millisec's they know everything about you.
Refusal to do so when being booked will cause cops to FORCE you to, using physical force if they want, and if you refuse when stopped on the street/home etc. they can arrest you.
If they don't already have this in your area they will soon.
Welcome to America (Land Of The Free) in the 21st Century.

This was in CA. and the souce is it happened to me.
As to the "stop getting arrested" cooment, I had already taken care of the ticket. It was never taken off the computer I was told.
When I got to court (2 days later, my bail was $77,000 for a registration violation), the judge dismissed the charges and ordered his clerk to walk it over to the court clerk's office and wait there until it was taken off.

Lucky, if you speed you're no longer a law-abiding American.
You are violating traffic laws.

This sounds like America the police state, rather than the land of the free. What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty, and having probable cause to stop someone? Sounds like we forgot all about them. I will be fighting this.

it sounds to me that they have found a more useful way of identifying criminals then fingerprints!! works for me... I'm sure if you are a law abiding resident who gets pulled over for speeding they aren't going to haul you back to the squad car!!

i think its great... makes me feel safer

Not in any state I've lived in.

And they won't.

Source? State?

Right.
