I really don't care about anywhere else in Yahoo Answers, just here in the boxing section. In my opinion, Yahoo Answers should remove the "Top Contibutor" icon and the "Best Answerer" icon as well. I believe if anyone takes the time out to answer a question honestly and objectively it is the Best Answer. Is it really anyones business how many questions and answers someone has given?

Yeah im not too keen on them as it can influence peoples votes when voting for best answer and the whole top contributer thing is a bit pretentious anyway. I didnt even have to get many best answers to get mine, it depends what catorgorys you write in and how popular they are. Also i think that you should be able to award points to more than one answerer on a question also. As many a time have i struggled to pick a best answer, as there have been a couple of answers that have been deserving of it.

I agree. I think they should remove the identification tags of top contributor. I think that it sometimes influences the asker to think that the answer of the "top contributor" is the one he should go with. All answers that make sense are valid. Good point Mr. Santana D.
