I was just wondering , today when I put PJ's on my little boy , I noticed that there is a pocket on it , why would they make 1 Yr old kids PJ's when they cant use it , I mean if they could use the pocket , I could also get him to change his own nappy.. so the question is.. why do you think they put Pockets on Little kids PJ's?

My husband jokes that our baby boy's clothes have pockets so he can keep binki's in them and offer them to the little girls at the park that forget theirs (and maybe get a few numbers), haha :) Although that's obviously not the real answer. I think probably just for fashion purposes. I don't have pockets on any of my pajamas though... why does anyone need pockets on pajamas, right?
I guess they put pockets on kids PJs because they don't have kids lol lol, it probably is for style I guess although I would put a tissue in his pocket when he had a cold so I knew where one was and it was handy for me, or if he has a Sukey you could attach it to the pocket so it does not get lost.
Mostly, the pockets are just there for looks. But a 1 year old may surprise you, he might discover he has this pocket and stick something inside. Regardless, it isn't a big deal... it doesn't use that much material so it hasn't really increased your cost any and it is just for appearances.
i have no idea!! When my daughter was newborn alot of her outfits had pockets, whats a newborn need pockets for!! I think its just for the look if that makes any sense, it looks normal with a pocket coz ours do so i think thats why, maybe!!
For the cute factor. They make them that way so we will say, "Awwww, he looks just like Daddy!" I only have a boy but I wonder if girls' pjs have them too?
