Don't spend money on expensive performance parts that will add almost no mpg to your vehicle. Instead, Imagine a pill you drop into your gas tank that can save you a minimum of 7 - 14% on every tank. If using you truck is becoming a problem due to rediculous gas prices then you will want to check this product out. This pill not only saves you big bux at the pump but also improves engine performance, and saves the environment by lowering smog and emmisions. There are over 3 news stations that have tried it out and reported it and they claim it works like a charm.

I'm testing it out right now on my 03 4runner. I normally get 17-18 mpg on average, so we'll see what happens after 2 full tanks of gas. The company sais that you will start to see a major difference in gas mileage after about 2 full tanks of gas, because it conditions your engine on the first tank of gas, so you will not see a major difference until 2 tanks. It is not a fuel cleaner or additive. The fuel only acts as a carrior to the combustion chamber were it is then made into a microthin catalyst layer. Their website has all of the info.

For all of you who think this is just a bunch of garbage, it's ok, because that is what I first thought of it when I heard about it, but after seeing the facts on the website and from others who always use it, I am convinced. The product is also registered with the EPA, reg. #201220 001. Note that the EPA does not aprove of anything, they just make sure that it does not cause harm to the environment or the vehicle itself similar to how the FDA makes sure there is no poison in our food. Oh and best of all they back their product up with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Didn't like the product, just send it back for a full refund. For more info, just visit the website below. You won't regret it.

Try different grades and brands of fuel. Sometimes running higher octage will get you better gas mileage to the point of more then making up the cost difference. Say regular is 3.20 a gallon and Plus is 3.30. Thats 3% more. Now say your gas mileage goes from 20 to 23 thats 13% more. I have seen this on many different cars to be the case. The other thing is tire pressure.Just a few pounds under inflated can cause you to loose 2-3 mpg. Try predicting traffic coast to red lights and accelerate smoothly. Pretend there is a raw egg under your gas and brake pedel. The smoother you drive the better the fuel economey.

its not that hard to do but its not free!
first go with a cold air intake
second, change the mass airflow sensor so it can take the added air flow.
third, high flow muffler will help, as would a high flow cat converter.
fourth, and cheapest change your thermostat to a low temp one like a 160 or 170 instead of the oem 180+.
there are a few other things you can do in some states nut not in all ! basicly think like this increased airflow = less unburnt gas thus more efficent engine, then think less restriction in the exhaust system = more mpg+ hp
all of this will add hp and mpg as a side effect
i will give you a tiny example i have a 95 z28 lt1 with the above done and a custom transmission as well i can get 41 mpg hwy and 32 city on super soon i will add the headers and go up 3 or so more mpg.
