I have 2 old cars and I need to sell one and keep the other. I have a red 1969 Ford Mustang and a yellow 1977 Pontiac Firebird. Which car will have a higher value and which car is better? In other words, which one should I keep.

i promise promise promise you. The 69 stang is and will always be worth more than the trans am. First, the 69 stang is a good year, everyone loves 69 for some reason. Second, wtf is a 77 trans am. This is like classic pony vs cheap corny trans am. I mean it's cool to have that huge bird on your hood i must agree, but soon enough people will be like dude, get over it. The mustang however is a head turner. If you restore that thing and get a new paintjob everyone will love your car and strangers will turn their heads and compliment you.
If you don't want to be like everyone on the block then get the Firebird. Mustangs are a dime a dozen but that is also a good thing. The Firebird is hard to find parts for since it was discontinued, it's not a bad car nor is the Mustang I just like driving something nobody else has. You can get a V6 or a V8 in those and both get pretty good mileage. Just remember the price to maintain an out of production car can be a little tough at times.
Unless the Firebird is a T/A The Mustang is worth more. But The Firebird is the better car. It all depend on which model it is ,what options they have and what the power train is.
the mustang, by far is the better choice to keep in the stable. short of a remake of smokey and the bandit i dont see the firebird having near the desirability of the stang and even then its still gonna be iffy . besides a 69 stang is one of the prettiest cars out there especially in red
mustang is worth more money, even if firebird is in better shape, in a few years the value of firebird will go up. i like both cars tho. but i'd have to flip coin few times to chose myself, but i and leaning to wards mustang, it worth even more if it a fast back, and even more if it a shelby.
