i like the look of liquid liner, and i do wait for it to dry.. just by the end of the day either mascara or the liner smudges onto my top cheek area right below the eyes! :(

Revlon has a neat gadget that looks like an eye pencil for removing "mistakes" with eyeliner, lip liner, etc. I was also told to lightly dab translucent powder over the lines.

It takes practice, but I use liquid eyeliner that has a pointed applicator not a brush. When it's new, you have to remove some of the excess with a tissue before applying it. Then, when the liquid eyeliner is empty, you can use the applicator and run it accross your mascara brush to get just the right amount on the applicator, and apply it just like drawing a line with a pencil. If you happen to mess up, immediately dab the area with a damp Q-tip. No one will ever know!

I have had a problem with liner smudging in the past. The best thing I can recommend is:

-Switch liners. Try Cover Girl Smoothers retractable pencil. It comes in a grey tube and it requires no sharpening. You could also try waterproof liner as well.

-Use Q Tips. They are an absolute life saver when it comes to make up correction. Dab a bit of water on one end, wipe off mistake, then use the dry end to absorb any excess water.

- Use a concealer as a base around the whole eye. Not only will it help deminish the appearance of dark circles. It also helps absorb oils around your eyes, which causes eyeliner to "run".

Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I use the liquid liner lightly and then go over it while it is still wet with a soft brown color and it lasts all day and makes your eyes stand out...I do not put it on thick and I use it on the upper lashes and half way on the lower...

ok for the bottom eyelid, u can use a cotton swab get it wet, i usually put a lil spit, and go along the botton evening it all out. it takes a few seconds and give u straight and neat line. you can also use the tip of ur finger and push up getting rid of the excess liner. for the top lid, u hafta wait for it to dry. try using ur blowdryer and put it on the cool setting. if u use hot, itll melt it and make it run. hope this helped!
