Drag Racers. Do you have a favorite track and why?

Road guys and Rally guys can say they like this track for this reason and that track for another reason. Does the same hold true for Drag strips and why? Just wondering.

Pomona is my favorite track. My home track love racing and watching races there. We're lucky we get two pro events a year. Havent been to the east coast tracks so cant compare to those so much. But Pomona has huge history that speaks for itself and is the longest running history of any track. And racing in Colorado does not make your car go faster, it makes it go slower. Less oxygen=less horsepower.

Hate to break it to tennisace, but the cars actually go slower the higher the altitude. I like gainsville, low altitude, fast times. The best track i've ever raced at was in pierre, sd this last weekend. Very smooth and a long shutdown area.

As a fan, not a racer - Pomona cause it's my home track, my backyard - Seattle cause it's amazing with pine trees coming down almost to the "Christmas tree" and of course Indy cause it's the most historic - although I hear Topeka is amazing - okay....forget I said anything......errrrr

I haven't been to as many drag strips as I'd like, but Rockingham is my favorite. It is soo smooth and fast.
