McAfee and Avast label Alexa as spy-ware, ad-ware. What should I do?

I am not able to download Alexa, even after pausing Avast, or putting all relevant folders in the "exclusions list" or "areas which will not be scanned" but to no avail. I have a small site with a ranking of 1 million on alexa, and wanted to improve it. In India, alexa ain't that famous. Is there any software through which the rank can be boosted to say...400,000. Thanks

McAfee makes computer to slow, I don't recommend it, use Norton it is far better than any other Anti-viruses or spywares or use Panda it is also very good.

The real question here is why you are worrying about Alexa in the first place. You do know that the rank means absolutely nothing right?? The only reason why the alexa rank goes up is if people with the toolbar go to your site. Only if your site is in the top 5,000 does it really matter somewhat, but still not much. It is easy to get your site to 400,000 and you shouldn't use software. Just go to your site everyday and get some friends to go to it, but you have to have the toolbar installed. I would stop worrying about it and I know why it isn't famous in India either, because it is the worst reporting tool ever!!
