Nice problem to have!

I would say the best way for you to help make sure you aren't as tempted to withdraw this money is to decide what you're saving it for. If you set a goal with this money, it will help you not want to touch it as much. For instance, you may decide that you're going to use it for retirement, or for helping you buy a house, etc.

Whatever you decide, make sure you invest it accordingly. So for instance, if you decide it's for retirement and retirement is a long way off, you should invest it where it will grow pretty well even if it's somewhat risky (like stocks and mutual funds) because you have time to recover if the stock market goes down. If, however, you are planning on using the money soon, put it into a CD or a savings account where you know it won't lose money and you can get at the money easily.

Hope this helps, and God Bless you too.

It seems that you have saved a lot. What you need to do now is to diversify your savings into a stock account, real estate, and guaranteed investments. this way you would not be as tempted into buying stuff on ebay. Or you can buy a jumbo CD with 95,000 and use the 5000 on stuff of your choice. Reward yourself a little bit, you've earned it.

Why don't you lock it into a CD - this way the penalty would inhibit your spending.
