Is there a way I can change the start-up sound on my Mac?

You know, the short one that plays when the Apple first appears?

Or, can I set one to play when I log into my Mac?

Macs will make that sound even when OS X isn't installed, so it is actually built into the firmware and without some major hacking which has not been previously attempted I would say it is not possible.
