Who plans on voting for Obama?

I think Obama would be a bad choice because he has already brought up race issues. In a time where America is on its knees, the last thing we need in this country is more problems. By bringing up race issues at a time where we are struggling to bring up our economy, race should not be a factor in a political campaign.

Talking from a foreigner perspective. Obama said that he believes in the separation of religion and state. However, he also said that the highest law for him is the law of god.
Besides the contradiction, what you need is a president who respects the Constitution, one who doesn't treat it as a "GD piece of paper".
There's no such thing as the law of god, at least not the god he's talking about. The bible is not a book of laws (with the exception of the Leviticus and I'm pretty sure you don't want to live under that).
For a president, the highest law of all MUST be the Constitution. If he doesn't want to be ruled by that, he should look for another job.

First of all, he doesn't have the nomination yet. So he may not even be an option! I don't know whom I will vote for yet.

But I agree with what someone else said- we can't keep ignoring racism in the US. And we can address that issue while addressing other issues in the nation. Obama has not been running his campaign solely on race- if anything, he's been resisting doing just that, even though some think he should.

You should read this week's Newsweek.

i'm going to be balloting for McCain. at first, Obama is all talk, no suggestions. Secondly, he desires to tax the wealthy. in simple terms so which you recognize, I make properly below 250 grand a 300 and sixty 5 days, yet that coverage will no longer help me lots. the wealthy can purely be taxed lots; finally they are no longer wealthy anymore. which might make all of us equivalent. i've got self assurance this is named Communism/Socialism. third, i do no longer see any adventure. What has he performed? i do no longer even know how he have been given interior the race- before this I hadn't even heard of him. McCain is an American Hero- he had the possibility to flow away Vietnam yet he stayed together with his adult males. That exhibits character. Obama is anti-American. And yet some want to vote for him for president? McCain/Palin '08!!!

America has been on its knees for the last 7-1/2 years or so, but it seems to me like we are finally starting to stand up. Race, sex, religion, terrorism- they are all just red herrings, and always have been. Keep the peasants ignorant and angry. Now, will I vote for Obama? That is still up for debate, but he definitely beats out Hillary. Race was just a card that he could play effectively.

Ok, I am not trying to pick a fight with you, (politics can be a very touchy issue.) but I don't recall a time when he made a big deal out of race. If I am wrong about this just let me know. But I think that out of the top three running Obama seems to be the better person for the job. By the way, I am a Republican and if Rudi is the Rep. nomination I will vote for Obama!
