How can I make Ramen noodles, taste betters, than with those , see below?
little high in calories and salt packets that are included? I'd like to spruce the taste up a bit. I have tried Ragu, and had to throw it out, the taste was awful not fit to feed the pigs, or any other animal.I have tried making noodle salad with it, and still nothing helps.

I make the noodles--JUST NOODLES AND WATER. Then, I drain off ALL of the water. I add half of the packet. While still HOT, I add some cheese (usually tear up two american cheese slices and stir until it melts)...this is GOOD TO ME! I lived off it in college!!!!
Also, some varieties are good with tuna stirred in also. I have also stirred canned shrimp into the shrimp flavored ones. It's also good!!!!!
The "salt" packets are flavor packets, that is where the taste comes from. Unfortunately, they are also loaded with MSG and are high in sodium. It's the MSG that gives the most flavor. I suggest adding a bouillon cube to your water instead of the flavor packet. We usually eat the noodles with the flavored water as a soup (Saimin) and add sliced Char Sui (red Chinese pork), Kamaboko (fish cake), cooked scrambled egg slices, Spam strips, chopped Won Bok or Choi Sum (types of Chinese cabbage), chopped green onions, and mung bean sprouts. Served with a good Shoyu (soy sauce) and hot mustard on the side.
I always cook them with the 2 cups of water but, I add a couple boulion cubes to the water for some extra beef flavor, I leave the water on them and I add the packets of seasoning and then I add some cooked vegetables to them, you can add whatever you have, I like peas, carrots, cooked celery, small peices of potatoes, onion. The way I cook them is more like a soup because I leave the water on them.
We so not use the flavor packets because of MSG. Try some soy sauce, Thai Peanut Sauce, fresh minced veggies, Fresh minced herbs, Teriyaki sauce, or all of it together.
Put an egg in it, and scamble it right in the pan. Add pepper, paprika, chili powder, a little salt, and pepper-yum, yum. If you´re daring, add butter too.
