My Grandmother,Lucille Zweissig, came to the USA in about 1879. She came from Chateau de Chesney (?) with and Aunt and 2 brothers. She married my Grandfather Thomas Curran and was the mother of 9 children. I believe they married in Ohio and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. One of her brothers settled in Chicago. I would very much like to know something of her family and childhood in Switzerland.

As the other two authors pointed out, dates are very important. But so is the spelling of names. Your Grandmother's name was Zwissig not Zweissig. In addition, her name was variously spelled: Lucile, Lucieal, and Lucial in various census reports. This was more likely a product of the census taker's error than anything else.
But you got lucky: *someone* in your family has done quite a lot of research already. Here is a capsule:

There is no Lucille Zweissig in the 1880 census index.
There is no Lucille Curran in the1880 census index.
There are no people named Zweissig born in Switzerland at all on the 1880.
There are no people named Zweissig AT ALL on the 1880 census, with "birthplace" left blank.
There is no Lucille Curran in the 1900 census index.
There are 83 women named Curran in the 1900 census index with husband Thomas, none of them born in Switzerland.
There are no people named "Zweissig" in the 1900 census either.
If she was 22 when she came to the US and married immediately, she would be Lucille Curran on the 1880; if she was 2 when she came and married late she would be Lucille Zwessig until the 1910. That is why dates are important.
She is probably there, just under a different name. She probably was named "Lucille Marie" or "Anna Lucille" and used "Marie" or "Anna" until she was 40, then switched to "Lucille".
