looking for creative way to tell family we are pregnant! Read on!?

When my partner and I found out we were expecting (our first) we wanted a creative way to tell our family too. So we wrote and posted a letter to them all from the baby. They were addressed to Grandma and Grandad or Aunty and Uncle etc and said how excited the baby would be to meet them on the due date! It was really sweet and brought most of my family to tears!!

I suggest that you could have your kids make all their grandparents a card that says I am going to get a present in 9 months!!

I would also try to have a bbq and make a fun suprise annoucement, and tell everyone we are getting two babies in a few months!!

I would say to start with your family, then friends, for your friends can find out in a number of ways, you could have a few flowers on a table for dinner, one that is blue, pink, yellow, and say what is it (our third) going to be??

I say have a fun time and anything you do is going to be great, for me:

I had lost two pregnanices before this one, and one was my twins at 12 weeks,

I had my daughter tell her daddy, by bring in the test, and saying "Daddy I am getting a Baby, look!!:)"

Then we gave out cards to the family through the mail, that said look who is going to be a big sister, and the calls came in!!

SO any way is the right way!

Have your other children draw a picture or make a card for your parents/family members. Tell them to draw your immediate family and to draw what they think the new baby will look like. Then, have them hand our their pictures/cards. When everyone asks who the fifth person is, your children can announce that it is their new baby brother or sister!

**When my sister and bro-in-law told us they were expecting baby #1, they brought over pizza. But when my mom opened up the pizza box, there was a sweet little baby outfit in the box instead of pizza!! It was so cute and VERY surprising (and original)!! We def weren't expecting that!**

When we announced our 2nd pregnancy, we had our toddler son give presents (wrapped-up baby outfits) to each of the grandmas.

Have everyone over for a get-together and put either a piece of paper or a copy of the sonogram picture in one balloon or all the balloons. Tell everyone, or just one person there's a surprise in the balloons (or balloon) and give them pins or something to pop them and find the surprise!

You could even send the grandparents balloons/flowers with a note or picture attached or inside! Good luck.

When I was pregnant for the first time, I was a little nervous about telling people, so I sent a baby bouquet of flowers (baby themed) to my parents and to my husbands parents. With a note saying, hope you are as excited as we are about the new addition to our family, due to be here on or about October 23, 2008 (or whatever your due date is). My mom actually didn't think it was for her because our neighbor had just had a baby, she thought they delivered it to the wrong house! Congratulations on the new baby!

Have one the kids in ur one that can talk very well and tell them that they are going to have a lil bro or sis coming and then have a family get together and have that child talk about all the fun they are going to have wit they new bro or sis and have them rub ur tummy while they are saying this. And the people in ur family will no know what to do or say they would think that the child is just talking and then u cn come ou wit it. i think this will be fun. Just an idea. Good luck!!!

At my birthday party last April my sister and brother-in-law gave me a card saying "Happy Birthday to a Wonderful Aunt!" And lo and behold my first niece and the first grandchild in our family arrived last December. It was a really nice way to break it to the family!

When my sister and her husband found out they were having their third they bought each set of grandparents a picture frame with room for three pictures. In the first two slots they put picture of their two kids. In the third slot they wrote "Coming in August 2006." I think that's such a neat idea I wish I had been the one to come up with it!

the most creative way i can think of is to have a dinner party or something depending on how close everyone lives and get a cake with a pic of your two children on it or a stork with a bundle of joy. another way is to send out e cards announcing the expecting package. the best way is to look on the internet to get cool ideas on how to break the news of expecting parents. congratulations
