Any good film pertaining to japanese family?

i was looking for a film for a film viewing which shows cultural aspects of a japanese family. i'm looking for a film which may show traditions and customs practiced in a japanese family. this film may also show the everyday life of japanese family and may also show modernization of japanese life revolving around a family throughout the years.

any good suggestions. this can be a movie or a documentary.
