Girls only please. Hostel showers, curious how other women would have reacted?

It was in Holland, middle of nowhere, the only place to stay miles around, a hostel. It was super hot that day, all we wanted was a cool shower. There was just one big room with 2 dozen bunk beds, mixed gender. But it was the only choice. So we grabbed our stuff headed for the showers. We asked there they were and he pointed at a door. We walked in to a suprise. Just a wall of shower heads a foot apart from each other.

There were naked guys and girls showering or drying off. As americans we were not used to this. We ended up just hurring up and showering. With only 3 spouts there was a line. I ended up standing 1 foot from a naked man. I have a thick ghetto butt and we both turned and his obviously large penis hit my butt. He quickly applogized in a very thick accident and left.
I am very curious how other women would have reacted to this situation?
Both the shower situation and the accidental contact?

I have been in that situation, especially in dance studios or theatres (I am in Europe) I also live in a place where there are a lot of top-less beaches. I agree with Troll Shark, they are just other bodies and well, accidental contacts happen, dressed or undressed...let's be lucky our bodies are complete!!

I think if all of us were more used to our nakedness and the nakedness of others, it would stop to be the so big deal it is ;-)

It is amazing to me how many people would not take a shower simply because there was some innocent nudity involved. My wife and I have visited a nude resort, where there are several outdoor showers. It's quite common to hop in after swimming or exercising - and it is healthier to clean the toxins from your skin! There's nothing wrong with some simple nudity. As far as the accidental contact, well, he apologized... you have to gauge for yourself how the situation was, and if it was really an accident or not. If you're fairly certain it was an accident, then move on and don't worry about it too much! If the guy was a bit creepy and you think he did it on purpose, just avoid him. No biggie either way.

Lets reverse it shall we? Then I am sure we will answer your question.

Suppose a girl, accidentally brushed her boobies against a guy's back. Hmmm.... How could he possibly have reacted?
Well, I'll tell you. He would have welcomed it, saying it was OK, especially if the girl said she was sorry and moved on.

About the co-ed shower. Well, do not try to convince me that the moment you decided to step in that shower room, you actually thought that nothing would have happened. I mean you must have been expecting a weird accident, or something.

It's not like they were having a big pile of monkey sex. We've all seen a penis, boobs, and asses (I hope). It's called nature. Nature is beautiful.

So an accidental brushing of a penis? He said he was sorry and moved on, don't worry about it. At least he didn't poke or slap you with it and smile strangely at you, THAT would be something to worry about.

There are many places in this world where people bathe together. Men and women at the same time. It's because they're not prudish little kids. Most Americans have really messed up associations with nudity. I see this and I'm American. Oh well, I'll just hang out with the mature people and the rest can go bicker at each other for having penises, boobs or some such.

Sadly, this is a perfect example of how North American society views nudity and the NATURAL human body...

It's perfectly OK to show someone getting shot to death on TV (or in a PG movie) - but the second a breast shows up on the screen, it's ADULTS ONLY!!!

The human body is the most NATURAL thing in the world - we all have one, and it only becomes tantalizing because our society chooses to cover it up at ALL times...

There aren't perverts going around staring at the naked (or at least topless) women in African tribes - and topless (or fully nude) beaches in Europe are PEFRECTLY normal.

All this came about because our society was founded by PURITANS - who fled the "old world" because they were being persecuted (and ridiculed) for their ultra-strict beliefs. One of the biggest among them involved what they saw as "decency"...
