ok so i just met a dude who seems to be really nice: employed, nice ride, has own home but..?

his babys mama still lives with him (child is 9) he doesnt want her not to have parents around like he did when he was growing up. He claims to sleep on the couch and has been for 4 yrs do i give him a chance to get to know me or what? They never got married....I have been single for awhile by choice just havent found mr right and i dont even know if this is him but how do i know if i dont take a chance? Help serious answers only..........

Girl....please don't get involved with him!!! He still has his child's mother living with him!!! You will have no future with him only heartache and pain, and lots of stress!! Please find someone who's worthy of you and is single! With no baby's mama living with him! Good luck and God bless hon.

So he sleeps on the couch for four years in his own house, his kid is 9 years old, and he still lives with a "roommate"? But does'nt want his kid to not have parents like his childhood. I can sort of see his best intentions. I think he is probably too nice of a guy. I guess I would be concerned about the message he is sending the kid. Granted it is just my opinion of the situation. I mean I feel like I'm a decent guy, but I just would not sleep on the couch in my own home for four years and let my x live around unless we were seriously trying to work things out. But if he can't figure that out after 9 years, I dunno. My advice. RUN.
