Curious American and the Postal Strike?
How have you gotten your bills in order to pay them? Or do the majority just pay them online? Here in the US the elderly get their pension checks or social security checks via snail mail? Is it the same in the UK? How are people getting checks if so? The bills not so much a big deal because most people know when their bills are due but for those relying on mail to recieve their pay? Yikes!!

Yes we call it online banking. I know so many people still who do not have their pay direct deposited for some reason they don't trust that or the online banking. I pay the majority of my bills via the telephone or online if the company has a website. I can't even remember the last time I bought a stamp. Many elderly however are naive to the whole direct deposit and online banking. My gram still gets her check in mail, cashes it, and her savings is an old sock hidden in her house. She doesnt use credit cards or checks.
