It is not recommended! It could tear because of the way the roller brushes go over the top. It could also damage the plastic windows on the side of the soft top as well and scratch them up. It is suggested to do it by hand in a do it yourself bay. It costs to much to replace them when they are damaged!

I own both a 2007 and 1995 wrangler with soft tops. Putting older jeeps through the car wash is very risky, I never would in my '95. I have once put my 07 with out any problems. Personally, I would avoid the car wash at all times. Only because the pressure can stretch the fabric, and if the top is lose, it may spring a leak. The best way is to go to a self-washing car wash, where you control the pressure and hose.

It is recommended that no soft top convertible ever be taken thru a car wash. This is how leaks develop. The high pressure water wears down the seams and will eventually cause leaks.
Dont take it thru a car wash, and if you do it yourself, rinse the top with only the low pressure setting.

Most car washes will not allow you through the automatic wash. You will need to wash it by hand or in the do-it-yourself section at the car wash. Sorry!

I would take it to a do it yourself wash to be on the safe side.
