How do I copy files from a playlist in Windows Media player into a folder?

I took the time to listen to all my music and rate it and catalog it in playlists. Now, I would like to take it from the playlist and put all those songs in one folder. This is because all the files are in hundreds of different folders on my computer and external hard drive and I would like to have all the playlist files on my laptop and the ones not in playlists on the external drive.

Surely I don't have to copy each of the 500 songs individually into a folder right?

Not individualy, but as the groups or folders they are in. It would help if you knew the file paths for each, and moved them in Windows MP 1st, and then they MIGHT move into one folder, but moving their folders into the big one with some fancy finger work should save some time.
