Problem between Yahoo and peoplepc email?

My friend has peoplepc email and it sometimes takes as much as 24 hours for me to get her email. Those I send her arrive on a timely basis. Does anyone know if this is a Yahoo problem or a peoplepc problem? Or both?

Peoplepc sucks. Big time. While Yahoo email has its problems, your friend's internet service provider is probably the worst I've ever encountered, and I've been doing this for 20 years.
