Need some professionals opions on these Red Dot Scopes?

I will be getting a DPMS AP4 here in January and I want a good red dot scope or something similar like a Holagraphic sight. I do not want to spend to much money and both of these scopes look pretty good, but I was wondering which one is better for fast acquisition of targets. I just using it for target shooting and maybe some competition. The reviews on both seem good and I am leaning towards Scope #2. I am open to additional suggestions if anybody has them.

The Bushnell, it's definitely better.

Looks like it was designed for the AR-15

I will be the first to admit I am old fashion. But when NRA legalized red dot sights on target pistols back in the 80's I tried one. At the time I was shooting competition pistol and scoring Sharpshooter. After I got some practice behind me with the red dot I came up 30 points in a 2700 match which put me in the Expert range. It convinced me.
Go with scope # 2

I'd go with #2 if you're going to be using it alone, but if you plan on doing any co-witnessing with it, then the shorter Nikon tube should work better for that. You may need to get rail risers to line it up, though. The t-pattern reticle on #2 should be nice if it keeps the same point of aim.

You may want to check out one of the other models of the Bushnell that's a bit better, and a good deal: http://www.swfa.com/pc-7293-198-bushnell-1x32-trophy-red-dot-sight.aspx

if you can save up a little extra money the Bushnell TRS 25 can be had for about $99 and they are pretty good little sights. For about $89 Primary Arms make some more decent quality optics for the price. None of them will be comparable to an aimpoint or eotech but for the price they get very high reviews.

Between those two, I would go with scope #2.

But, if I were you I would go with the Aimpoint CompML2 Red Dot Sight. My cousin had one on his RRA and it had a very clear sight picture, was very durable. Here's the link:
