I am looking for a way to put together an indoor swing....?

Possibly with hooks to a support beam in our house. Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this? What type of hooks to hold a swing with weight up to 100 lbs? It is for a disabled 4 yr old but she will probably get several years of use out of it. Thanks!

Go to Lowe's or Home Depot. The people there will tell you exactly what to do. It's not too difficult. The most important thing to do before you go is to find the beam that you want to use. If you don't have any exposed beams, you might want to bring your house plans to the store with you.

If you don't have vaulted ceilings you may have to cut a hole in your ceiling to get to the studs. Use a drill so it won't split. Glue and screw extra large hooks and attatch the rope. You could probably contact a swing set company to help and ask what they would charge. I wouldn't think it would be alot.

i dunno, but all i would use is 3 inch I-bolt screws, find the ceiling truss, figure out weat your going to install the swing, take a hammer and start the I-bolt thru sheet rock and truss, then once set take a screwdriver and twist into place. simple enough job and the I-bolts will hold alot more than 100lbs each. Nonsense of drilling and screwing is a waste of time. Tell your daughter HI!
