Any One have ancestors/relatives who were stationed at Pearl Harbor Before D-day?

My son-n-law's brother bought a house in Penn.He is in the process of remodeling it.In the basement there is a chemney. The bricks needed replaceing. He found old pictures of soldiers stationed in Paerl Harbor before the raid [.I can tell by the bulidings] they're still standing.I'm trying to find relatives of these men to give them the pictures. If you know or have relatives who were stationed there during this time, please let me know through e-mail in my profile.I'd be glad to send you copies..Thanks,Ladybug

The pictures are of navy military men. Some pictures are of the boats and some of airplanes too. There are a few group pictures of the men stationed there. And of course, some are just goofing off. There was also old timey glasses found along with old medical bottles and surgical instruments. The house once belonged to a doctor or mortician from the looks of the basement lay out. This was in Wattsbrough Pa. Sure would love to know who these men are.But most of all,I'd love for their relatives to get them..They are a piece of the past that may mean something to someone.

I think you mean before Dec. 7. If you contact your local VFW or American Legion Post, there should be dozens of veterans willing to help you. The Veteran's Administration will not give out information, by law, but the guys who hang out at the post will probably help. Also, are they Army? or Marines.....all the branches of service have groups and they may be able to read insignia to help identify the units. Good luck!
