well...with risk of sounding bad...it must be that thats the area that is getting rubbed against the most. That sounds horrible, I know...and thats not what I mean. However, think about it...you move your arms constantly and our boobs tend to be the bigger area causing more friction on the shirt then most other areas (except the arms). If you don't like how it pills like that...make note not to buy that kind of fabric again. You can also use a pill shaver to shave them off. I honestly don't know how to prevent it from happening anymore...other then just not wearing it.

The pill shaver really can be useful! I got mine at my drycleaners but you can find them almost anywhere, and I think it happens on more than one type of fabric. Sometimes it's unavoidable, especially under the arms. I had one sweater that got really bad from my purse rubbing against it. The pill shaver is the only thing that will help but it will never look as good as new again.
