When I'm browsing or answering questions, I hear these people talking and think it's someone in my house. Now I know it's caused by a video GAP ad that automatically plays on the page. Is anyone else extremely annoyed that it has to be paused in order to shut them up, which sometimes opens another window?

That GAP AD is so annoying! I found a way to get rid of it! If you download and run Firefox as your browser, there is an add on program you can install which will make it disappear totally off your page.
Simply do a search for Firefox then for the Firefox add on called Adblock. (I tried putting in the links but got a 999 message from Yahoo.)
Once you install both of those, look down in the very bottom right hand corner of your screen where you will see: Adblock. Click on it then disable the second item up from the very bottom of the list. (At least that what worked for me.)
Also, you can write an e-mail to Gap and let them know what you think about their obnoxious, senseless advertisement:

i am also extremely annoyed! whenever i hear them i think the same...someone is in my room. i swear the first time i heard it i had a heart attack!!! lets make like twenty petitions to show yahoo how serious we are!!

Yes I have to mute my sound whenever I come on this website and its kind of an inconvenience.

I don't understand why people get so annoyed by this??!!! instead of complaining nonstop about the gap ad,simple solution....MUTE your computer!!! DONT SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF! Merry Christmas!
