Is it true putting a bar of soap in the garment bag of my suits will repel the moths?

I put bars of un-used soap in my drawers and it seems to work real well.

never herd of it might make your clothes smell nice but i doubt it will repell moths must of herd it wrong.

i own multiple suits and have never heard of using this technique. just ask your suit retailer and they should be able to head you in the right direction
