Should Kelly be removed from the golfchannel? Just yes or no will be fine.?

Since I'm just received two thumbs, in another forum, down for no reason, I may as well go the whole way. There are just racists out there that want it one way. White and black. Too bad. Think about this. If a black commentator said what Kelly said but was talking on a white golfer, it would be no doubt ignored. When was the last time a black was nailed for his white comments? It just does not happen. Just like it's ok for blacks to use the n word. It's time we got rid of the 'double standards' as being acceptable and judge humans as people and stop all this bs. By the way, if we hang Kellie for this then we should start hanging others for saying whitey or whatever. Oops did I say hang? I must be a racist then. I'm not but I am real and don't we have more important worldly subjects to discuss? It's time the pendulum stopped swinging one way or the other for pettiness.

I agree with you totally....She should absolutely not be fired...
Tiger Woods agent has already said that it was a non issue and that Kelly is a friend of Tiger's. I am also sick of the double standard and the political correctness police in this country. She probably will get fired though eventually because of the uproar that the "good" reverend Jesse Jackson and Al sharpton will stir up.

No. To all of those saying she should be banned from TV, did you hear the entire statement and the context it was made in? Did you hear the voice tone inflection? Did you see her face to see whether she was joking or not? I have not been able to find the exact quote and conversation anywhere on the Internet and even if you find the words, you can't get tone from the written word.

Most of those who are quick to ask for her banning probably have no clue about her. I'm not a big fan of hers on the Golf Channel but she seems to be a huge fan of Tiger Woods, not a hater. So why would she make a comment that was intended to slam him. It was basically a compliment that stated that the only way the rest of the field could win was if Tiger wasn't in the field (he's won 21 out of 49 medal play PGA events that he has played in over the last 3 years). She made a bad analogy for sure but as a nation we have got to learn that everything should not be taken as a slur on someone.

And last but not least, to ixnaytim, if you're going to say you don't care, please learn to use the term correctly. The correct use is "couldn't care less" not "could care less". Obviously, if you "could care less", then you actually do care somewhat about it.

I think it was totally wrong and no amount of trying to make it okay will help. She knew better and if she isn't any better about controlling her words she shouldn't be an anchor person. I am white and I was offended.
Were I work if you say anything about whiteie or cracker or any other racist remark about whites your just as fired as the n word. No difference and that is the way it should be.
About time we did start thinking how are words affect others.

grow up people this is golf not the end of the world not everything we say is racially motivated if he was of a different race this would have been a non issue

No. Kelly and Tiger settled the issue between themselves and now it's dead.
