how can pa dot add time to a license suspension after they already added to it once?

i was sentenced in court for 1 year suspension and 1 year interlock. ayear later when i contacted pa dot about the interlock they told me i was suspended for 5 years. i finally recieved a letter a week later. about 1 year after that i got another letter saying they added 3 more months . why did it take so pong to be notified and how can they keep adding time?

You need to go to the DOT and ask to sit down and talk to one of the supervisors there, find out what is going on, it could be a mistake in the computers or they may have you tied in with another case under the same name or case number. If this does not work, contact the judge that heard your case and see if they can shed some light on this issue. Good luck.
