How do you think Blair Thomas, Todd Marinovich, Al Toon, and Eddie Brown feel?
Knowing that they were drafted ahead of the three greatest wide receiver, quarterback, and running back to ever play the game. Preference goes to best explanation and if they could tell me the players the three legends I speak about.

Blair Thomas was drafted ahead of Emmit Smith. Todd Marinovich was drafted ahead of Brett Favre. Al Toon and Eddie Brown were drafted ahead of Jerry Rice.
My guess is that they feel pretty fortunate. I wonder if the ever bring it up at parties. "You know, I was drafted ahead of Jerry Rice..."
A better question might be, how do the Jets, Raiders, and Bengals feel about it?
Another quarterback that was drafted ahead of Favre in '91 was Dan McGwire of the Seattle Seahawks.
Al Toon was drafted in '85 ahead of Jerry Rice because he came from a big school, Rice was selected 16th out of Mississippi Valley State and was not even on the radar of most NFL scouts. Blair Thomas came out of Penn State and was drafted ahead of Emmitt Smith from Florida. The knock on Smith was that he was too small. Marinovich was drafted out of USC and was a HUGE bust. He was drafted ahead of Brett Favre from Southern Mississippi.
