Uhh, well I don't really know, But when I first got glasses, I felt smarter and potrayed it for sometime.
But really Im kind of a blonde, and don't have a lot of common sense **yes, Ill admit it. So, it didn't last long esp. with my friends, I can't fake be smart with them. haha.
But really, I think if you see a person walking down the street, wearing glasses and pulling them off well, They naturally do look smarter and are potrayed as that. I think its just psychological. People think they are smarter, and the glasses wearer thought they were smarter (conciously or not)
But, in the end, when you know the person, that sterotype seems to fade, just with any other sterotype.

false- majority of people now a days wear glasses just because they think they look cool i know many with good vision who has glasses. Also people with glasses usually are not smart. they are the opposite. i know many people who actually wear glasses due to reading they are not smart at all just regular douche bags.
