Okay girls, what is the best kind of foundation or makeup out there that doesn't break the bank. I was thinking about trying the Bare Escentuals. I have very fair skin and I am pretty much allergic to everything. I have little to no acne, and I only break out around "that time of the month". Any opinions and advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you're interested in a mineral type of make up, I very highly recommend Everyday Minerals. At about 1/2 the cost, it's better than the pricier brands due to lack of ingredients that can irritate the skin (I.E. talc), and it's amazing! I will never use anything else, my skin is fantastic and I have gotten half a dozen friends hooked on it as well.

The best foundation is an oil free type that matches your skin tone. There are tons to choose from at your local beauty supply store. From my experiences, Bare Escentuals doesn't work very well. It seemed to be nothing more than a powder, and didn't do much to cover up uneven skin tones, pimples, or other blemishes. I also have light skin, so I bought the starter kit with the lightest colors. It was still too dark, and it didn't match my friend's skin tone either. I really don't recommend this product, buy I guess everyone is different. Hope this helps! ;P

I am glad you are deciding on mineral makeup. It is the best thing I have ever done. I would be a little concerned about bare escentuals however as it contains bismuth and many people who have sensitive skin or acne are extremely allergic.
That is why I switched to kms mineral essentials and I love it! It also costs much less than bare minerals and I don't have to be concerned about allergy issues anymore.
