Best Kind of Makeup/Foundation?

If you're interested in a mineral type of make up, I very highly recommend Everyday Minerals. At about 1/2 the cost, it's better than the pricier brands due to lack of ingredients that can irritate the skin (I.E. talc), and it's amazing! I will never use anything else, my skin is fantastic and I have gotten half a dozen friends hooked on it as well.

Best Kind Of Makeup

The best foundation is an oil free type that matches your skin tone. There are tons to choose from at your local beauty supply store. From my experiences, Bare Escentuals doesn't work very well. It seemed to be nothing more than a powder, and didn't do much to cover up uneven skin tones, pimples, or other blemishes. I also have light skin, so I bought the starter kit with the lightest colors. It was still too dark, and it didn't match my friend's skin tone either. I really don't recommend this product, buy I guess everyone is different. Hope this helps! ;P

I am glad you are deciding on mineral makeup. It is the best thing I have ever done. I would be a little concerned about bare escentuals however as it contains bismuth and many people who have sensitive skin or acne are extremely allergic.

That is why I switched to kms mineral essentials and I love it! It also costs much less than bare minerals and I don't have to be concerned about allergy issues anymore.

I use bare minerals and it is AMAZING!! I love it, i get so many compliments when i have it on. I use to be anti make up, and just started wearing when I go out, but after all the great comments about my skin and complexion i will not leave the house without it on! This is the first negative comment I have heard about it. I would recommend it to anyone. Maybe you should go into the local bare minerals store and get a free makeover to see if you like it. Cant really lose that way. unless you don't have a store near!

I am very pale and have fair skin. I recommend trying the Bare Minerals starter kit in Light that is what I have. I still wear cover-up underneath to cover the bags under my eyes and any blemishes. But the bare minerals is very light and it leaves your face with a very porcelain look, clean and fresh. Not that expensive it was $80 dollars and two small compacts of the lose poweder lasted me a year (I do not go heavy with my makeup)

The one that works the best for me is the Liquid Powder Minerals from Bee Luscious. I am allergic to the bismuth found in most mineral foundations and this one not only doesn't have it, it also stays on all day and doesn't clog my pores!
