Headlight Adjustment Measurements

Wall measurement have nothing to do with the aiming of the lights under driving conditions. I simply aim my low beams too high and take my adjusting tool with me. Every time an opposing car flashes me I turn my headlamps down one full turn. When people stop flashing me I stop adjusting.

first park the car 3 feet from the wall...turn on the lights...use a piece of tape and make a straight line on the wall then use another piece to make an x mark where the center of the lights are...back the car up and you should be about 25 feet from the wall..make the adjustments to where the light shines about 2 inches under the straight line you made...and you should have it set just right

on a wall they should be about shoulder level on a wall tape off a square between eye level and shoulder level and you should be fine not quite sure as to the distance i would guess around 20 feet to a cars length
