Who wrote the poem/verse "Drooping now the lotus bloom..."?

My mom just quoted to us tonight a verse that she learned when she was studying elocution as a child. She says that it's written by a famous poet, but she couldn't remember who. Google didn't turn up the text. Can you help?

It goes something like:
Drooping now the lotus bloom
In the waters of the pool
Hidden in the forest gloom
... deep and cool.

I have heard this also ... but I don't know who wrote it either! It is lovely though, isn't it?

I enjoyed that. 2 quibbles approximately issues that are in no way incorrect, yet I in basic terms on a whim desire them in any different case. among using fact I hate the sound of mong-a And "we right here discover" using fact "will" is susceptible and feels a million/2 in beat a million/2 off beat. That one is in basic terms approximately a foible, yet you will be ridiculously choosy to think of so. The lotus did you stable. The sirens referred to as out to the muses.
