Unfair trading practices, lost of American jobs, substandard product branded USA but not US made. Tarnishing the high standards of "MADE IN THE USA". This initiative is not only limited to North America, this process has been exported to the big dragon and the little tigers, who's economy is booming, many average Joe in the US cannot pay his mortgage, America, has to borrow from the dragon, and the dragon is expanding its military might at an alarming rate..

I'll use one example I know about. ever hear of the Hershey chocolate bar ? I know that they are or already did close a plant that was in California that was there since the 1950's I thought it employed around 500 people.
them jobs went to Mexico.
that was not the only plant that Hershey's is closing they are also opening a plant in Asia no doubt (CHINA)
the part that is really sick is that Hershey was not losing money they were doing OK the CEO had stated were missing out on the cheap labor.
It's all about Greed !
The Great American chocolate bar has sold out
that's whats wrong with NAFTA that's whats wrong with all Free trade deals we have.
They are Free Trade Not Fair Trade.

It's been a complete disaster, why in God's name would we want to continue. The republicans made it sound if we would have to put a fence up to keep us as American's out, but the illegals are still coming over in groves. I guess the only one's it was good for was the corporations. If you go to YouTube and put in Ross Perrot 1992 Presidental Debate, you can no longer deny with he said about the Supply Side and Reagan/Bush policies would break the back of America and destroy the middle class, and the right said he was a crazy protectionist. By far this is the worst thing that Clinton every did, far worst than he BJ. He should have know that anything economicaly proposed by the right wing is either immoral or illegal. They said he did this thinking that if he compromised on this they would have compromised on health care, he was wrong and the screwed him over big time. Over all I was pleased with Clinton but by fear this was a lapse in judgement.

The problem people have with NAFTA is that it opens our borders to cheaper goods produced where the labor is cheaper. When our consumers switch to those goods, the goods produced here are not purchased, causing companies to go out of business, and all their employees to lose their jobs.

Nothing as long as both side treat it fairly and trade increases gros national product....
If the country closes into a closed market when the world has embrassed global trade it will isolate the country and in the long run there will be less jobs...
Now that the dollar is so low export should increase because the items manufactured in the U.s. will be easier to sell and make us more competative
