God created Jesus to make Jesus convince God that Jesus had to die for our sins, right?
I know this has been asked before. Heck, I have even asked it before. But if I still don't get it, my guess is others still don't get it either. So, please, educate me in a logical way.
God makes the rules. God decided that humans didn't deserve to live forever in paradise because the first two ate some fruit. Then God becomes flesh in the form of Jesus. Jesus dies on the cross. Now humans can go to heaven.
Is that it? Did I forget something?
What was the point of Jesus being born or crucified, if God makes the rules anyway? And why would it matter if Jesus died, since he was really God all along? What's the sacrifice in that?
I have used the search function, found 20 similar questions, read all the answers. And I still have no clue. So, please explain it like I'm 6 years old.
What is the sacrifice in Jesus' death, and why did God need it?

Holy crap! I just basically asked this same question at the end of an answer I just gave on somebody else's questions about something else. (are you still with me?)
I just wish, for once, someone, ANYONE, would give an answer to your questions that made actual sense. If god has infinite power and wisdom and all that, WHY did he have to send his son to earth knowing full well that we were going to murder him in the most horrific way possible?
Why would god have to sacrifice his kid for us? Who are we to be having god making a blood sacrifice for? He's god!! He can flood the world! He can set bushes on fire! He can do all kinds of cool things, but he can't just forgive us for our sins, and just call it even without all the gore?
Who was he trying to impress? Seriously? I can see Jesus being sent here to teach us to be better people, but anything past that makes no sense.
The best part of all is, after allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll that, what do we do? Fight over who's Jesus religion is the right one. Fight over who the REAL Christians are. Wage war over him and his son. Slaughter innocent people in their names. Crusades, anyone?
He must have saw this coming.... what an butt-head.
UPDATE: I kinda like Billy's answer, but it's still doesn't seem logical.
God doesn't just make up rules and do anything He pleases. He's holy and good, and the rules for what is and is not good could never have been otherwise. God told the early humans that their only happiness lies in Him, and any other choice would lead them to death and misery. That's not something God could have made otherwise if He felt like it- it's just a simple description of the nature of reality. . . sort of like telling someone that if they jump off a tall building they'll die. But, they chose to go their own way and do their own thing anyway, and, just as He told them, they suffered the consequences for that. God wouldn't be righteous or holy if he simply overlooked that sin and let them do anything they pleased. The penalty for sin is death, and if God is to be just, then that debt must be paid, somehow. But God, being the loving creator that He is, wasn't willing to let that be the end of it. He was willing to pay that price Himself, so that we could be saved from hell. Because if we don't pay the price, then somebody surely must do it in our place. Jesus could do that for us because He never sinned, and therefore he didn't owe a sin debt at all. It's sort of like if you commit a crime and get thrown in jail. The other prisoners are not going to be able to help you post bail. Only somebody who hasn't commited a crime and is therefore not in jail himself will be able to come bail you out. So our sin-debt was paid by Jesus' death, and because of that, we can be right with God again. The righteousness of God is satisfied, and His love for us is proved at the same time.
My head just exploded! No, it doesn't make sense. And if you think about it, it really illogical. So, Jesus is God, he's also God's son, but they are the same. And Jesus died so he can take our sins, WHY??? A God can forgive us anyway, why would he need his own son's blood for that? And again, he and his son are both the same thing, so God also died. And reincarnated. Every time I think about it, I get lost. I guess it's one of those Goddidit things. You just have to accept it with faith and forget logic, because if you try to find logic, you have an exploded head like me!
Jesus is God, not a created Person. According to God's plan, Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. If u reject Jesus' death for our sins, there is no heaven for u but hell only.
What in the world? I'm not even sure as to where to begin addressing this post of yours. It has so many errors that it will just take too long in order to address them. First and foremost we must understand [your position or the position of the person who told you this story] as to why do you or this person think that a created being such as an angel {Michael} is synonymous with Jesus who is refered to by his emissaries as the "word of G-d" and also in regards to the verses you have quoted how does it give us the indication that it is alluding to this idea, it does not allude to Micheal being the same as Jesus at all. This being one of our biggest hurdles in order for us to correctly address this kind of deceptive doctrine of yours so that you may understand the magnitude of it's error, but please continue reading! Next, according to your beginning statements "If Jesus was created by Jehovah" , Huh? You're showing us that you or this person who relayed this information to you has an issue in the way of understanding scriptures {to put it mildly} with the word of G-d, who [is] synonymous with his anointed=Yeshua which has always been with G-d because the word is G-d. LOL I must be melting some peoples brains out by now but I assure you that those who are his followers understand exactly what I have written. So, how can you say that G-d created the word if the word and G-d are one and has always been with him {G-d}. Without him nothing that was created was created, but all things were created by him thru him and for him? Search out these questions which I have posted and it will help you perhaps on the path to correctly interpreting the message of his emissaries and stay away from unsubstantiated fables which are not written.
