I seen cheap laminate flooring at lowes for .88 per foot. would this stuff last is it any good? I want new flooring but can not afford the wood . I seen the next price up at lowes was almost 2.00 a foot my question is is the 2.00 better then the .88?

laminate are actualy more durable than wood floors. if u are in a budget. dont wven think about the hard wood floors. it is an expense that isnt that ijmportant. concentarte on other things oin the room. there is a great variety of laminate floors. i know u will find one that fits the best. PLUS IF U DONT TELL NO 1 WIL KNOW.

I have installed all kinds of laminate. It all depends on the amount of traffic you expect and the rooms where you want it, but all in all, the on-sale laminate works pretty good.

Pergo is great and is long lasting. My Uncle is in the Hardwood flooring business and he recommends it to others as a good alternative.

You get what you pay for. Remeber wood last the longist but if it is more then you can aford get the one you can and later you can get the real wood.
