I dreamed that two men could be the father........a tall thin red head.......and a short dark haired Italian...............and I was waiting to have the baby to see who the father was............now that was a strange dream...............any idea's what that might mean?

The baby represents possible change. The men represent a choice, however what choice only you can figure out. It may be one you made already or one you will make.
Also, do you have a daughter? Prehaps your maternal connection is picking up on something going on with her. If you don't, go with the first part. If you do, sit down and talk with her. Share your dream. She may have something that's been bothering her and needs you to talk about it.

Since you do have a pregnant daughter, does she have any issues? Maybe not medically, family or career wise? I think it's tied to your daughter. She's your baby, so in your dream you are both pregnant with her and for her. It may seem odd, but think about it. She's always a part of you. Is it her first child?

Dream interpretation is a very subjective thing. I try to first think about the more mundane reasons that one may dream a dream like this... I once dreamed that I was having a baby and woke up with the most tremendous cramps I had ever had. However I had simply started my cycle. Sometimes what movies we have watched just before bed can influence our dreams as well as what we may have eaten during the day. I had dreams like this for months. It really creeped me out because I for one think I'm way too young to even fathom having a child.
Turns out it was my friend who would conceive. She unfortunately lost it. But, that's besides the point. I like to think it was a foretelling of her pregnancy.
My mom did the same thing before my sis found out she was pregnant. Having dreams about taking care of babies and so forth.
Being you said your daughter is expecting, I will all but bet its just your subconscious putting you in her place.
