If a 10 year old takes pictures or makes videos of "himself" and then keeps these until he's 40 years old and "enjoys" them, If someone caught him could he be arrested for pedophilia

I don't think he would get arrested, if he could prove they were pictures of himself. But he would definitely be recommended for some psychiatric advice...

i dont think that could be classed as pedophelia, as long as he can prove that the child in the photos in 100% actually himself. So he would probably be arrested and questioned and the cops would do investigations to make sure the 10 year old is actually himself, then they would probably just call him a sicko or ask why he enjoys looking at himself as a little boy.. but theres no other legal actions they can take haha. but yeah, interesting question! =)

Well, I knew a person about 10 years ago who was sent to fed prison for Cporn.
An innocent friend was dragged into the controversy, and when the photographs in the innocent friend's drawers were dug through, they found one of the Innocent's 'nekkid baby pics' that his mom and dad made of himself.
Because it was a picture of the suspect instead of another child, the investigators did not take that into evidence.
However, if you have Limewire and download someone's whole directory and that directory includes cporn, you could be arrested for limewire, even if you were only looking for movies.

No, because he consented to it, and he is not affecting anyone other than himself. Yes, it would be odd, and probably indicative of unhealthy sexual issues, but I highly doubt this could be prosecuted, especially since he would be both the defendent and the plaintiff. Possession of child pornography might be a possible charge, though.

I don't think that you can possess pedophilia where you are the actor. It doesn't meet the burden. It's like if you have a picture of your child in the bath, (not pornographic or anything, just people seem to take funny pictures of their children in the bath). I don't think that would meet the burden.
