Mind Boggling Question about Pedophelia ( read )?

I don't think he would get arrested, if he could prove they were pictures of himself. But he would definitely be recommended for some psychiatric advice...

i dont think that could be classed as pedophelia, as long as he can prove that the child in the photos in 100% actually himself. So he would probably be arrested and questioned and the cops would do investigations to make sure the 10 year old is actually himself, then they would probably just call him a sicko or ask why he enjoys looking at himself as a little boy.. but theres no other legal actions they can take haha. but yeah, interesting question! =)

Well, I knew a person about 10 years ago who was sent to fed prison for Cporn.

An innocent friend was dragged into the controversy, and when the photographs in the innocent friend's drawers were dug through, they found one of the Innocent's 'nekkid baby pics' that his mom and dad made of himself.

Because it was a picture of the suspect instead of another child, the investigators did not take that into evidence.

However, if you have Limewire and download someone's whole directory and that directory includes cporn, you could be arrested for limewire, even if you were only looking for movies.

No, because he consented to it, and he is not affecting anyone other than himself. Yes, it would be odd, and probably indicative of unhealthy sexual issues, but I highly doubt this could be prosecuted, especially since he would be both the defendent and the plaintiff. Possession of child pornography might be a possible charge, though.

It's a strange question. I wouldn't believe someone would get sexually exited over looking at themselves in that way.

Getting sexually exited while viewing children is warped even if it is yourself. The crime wouldn't be if it were yourself however it would be evident to me that the warped urge is present with a twisted sence I can't comprehend.

I don't think that you can possess pedophilia where you are the actor. It doesn't meet the burden. It's like if you have a picture of your child in the bath, (not pornographic or anything, just people seem to take funny pictures of their children in the bath). I don't think that would meet the burden.

first of all, he might not be a pedophile if he is sexually aroused by photos of himself.

second, you cannot be arrested for pedophilia, since status (i.e., having a certain psychological disorder) is not a crime. you can only get arrested for an act (i.e., possession of child porn).

third, technically he could be arrested, because it would fit the definition of most kiddie porn laws.

EDIT:by the way, kids cannot consent to participation in porn (or other sexual activity). you'll get arrested even if they say yes.

I don't know if they would be breaking any laws as the video is of them and they made it themselvs BUT. That person would probably need to seek mental help as enjoying to see yourself naked as a kid is probably the signs of something more serious to come.

Probably not because he's not taking advantage of a child. Its him. The question makes sense though but I doubt it. Typically the laws are concerning other children due to the welfare of that child but since its him...I dont know! I doubt it though.

um i think the authorities would be alerted and they would look into the case, but then would find out the guy was just a creep who took pictures of himself. that's really a disturbing question... and that would be one messed up dude.
