Difference of two squares, hence (x^2-4)(x^2+4). But the first of these factors is also the difference of two squares, so the final result is (x-2)(x+2)(x^2+4).

The answer to your question is:
x = 2 or x = - 2
add 16 to both sides then take the 4th root of 16. using the positive and negative.
