Unfortunately, although avoiding dietary sources of cholesterol may be beneficial, it isn't the whole story when it comes to high levels of "bad" cholesterol. The liver manufactures much of the cholesterol in our blood stream, so it is possible to have a poor cholesterol profile despite eating a low-cholesterol diet. In reality, high levels of bad cholesterol are likely a symptom of a much more fundamental problem and not the root problem itself. Reducing levels of bad cholesterol is nice, but reducing inflammation, the primary cause of heart disease, stroke, and many other chronic problems, is much more important. Refer to the links below for more information on how to reduce cholesterol naturally and how to reduce levels of inflammation. And I second the statement a previous poster made that exercise is important.

Yes, I know...but first, I need to know what :"Im not very
extrict with my diet"means?
I will tell you what to do,but this is something you must do every day or don't even start.
You must do this every day for 2 months, then get
a cholesterol test. It should be working well.
Buy a large bottle of QUALITY fish oil or Cod Liver Oil softgels. These should be from the pristine waters of
Scandinavia (because all other waters are polluted.)
They are not expensive. I will give you a link.
Take 2 softgels in the morning,2 at lunch, and 2 at
dinner. These are 1,000mg
capsules.
Send me an email after you
have taken these for 2 months and tell me how much your cholesterol has
lowered.

Natural Cholesterol Guide?

Ian C2008-04-09T04:08:16Z

It depends what you mean by "pills". If you are prepared to try natural methods (which often come in pills) then niacin or Sytrinol (which comes from citrus fruit) might lower "bad" cholesterol. The only known side effect of niacin is short-term skin flushing - about 20-30 minutes - shortly after taking the dose.

Also, soluble fibres like oatbran and citrus pectin bind cholesterol in the bile and make it unavailable for re-absorption, and thus drop total cholesterol and LDL. Oatbran in particular can be used as porridge, or used to thicken soups, gravy and the like.

Do we need to mix it or use it separately? Thanks for sharing the information.
