Do you have an cordless electric lawnmower?

Thinking of getting a cordless electric lawnmower. Either the Neuton, Craftsman, Homelite or Black & Decker. Looking for current owners experiences with these. Have a small, 5,000 sq ft, flat lawn, tailor made for one of these. Tell me what you think. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a craftsman that is cordless and electric, and I love it. It is lightweight, starts with a key. Actually it does need to be plugged in to recharge the battery. If you are worried about not having enough charge to finish the job, it's not a problem. You will have more than enough energy for several cuts. Just remember to recharge it.

I have a Neuton, battery powered lawn mower..for almost 4 years...The battery weighs more than the mower., which can be hung on a wall..You get about an hour and a 1/2 of mowing time with each charge. and the battery cannot be over-charged.
No more gasoline, spark-plugs, or pull cords.
comes with a 3 year warranty.
It is environmentaly friendly, very quiet, and reliable.
I have even mowed my lawn at night(with a good light sorce,of course.,just to see if the neighbors would complain..They did not.
go to www.chp.com......for more info.
or call 800-376-9637..
They are a wonderful company.

I just bought a Homelight 24volt cordless mower last week. I had to let it charge for 17 hours initially before use. But once charged it was very simple to operate and much quieter than a regular lawnmower. The directions with mine said the running time is proportional to the depth of the grass your cutting. If you are cutting low grass, it will go farther on the charge than if you are having to cut high grass. For repeat charging, it says it will only require 5 hours. I am pleased with the mower so far and would recommend it to you. I purchased mine at Home Depot.

I have a Yardworks 24v one and love it. It's very quiet which I like. I can cut the lawn late in the evening without disturbing the neighbourhood and deafening me. It will cut about 100 x 100 feet of lawn on one charge unless the grass is really long or wet. The mower is light and easy to push and has a mulcher which saves raking.
